Ever since I was introduced to voice work at Drama College and being shortlisted in the Carlton Hobbs Drama Competition, I have been passionate about what we can do with our voices: character work, accents, sound modification, diction, power, strength, control - all of that from one person's vocal ability. Now that's special.

Ever since I was introduced to voice work at Drama College and being shortlisted in the Carlton Hobbs Drama Competition, I have been passionate about what we can do with our voices: character work, accents, sound modification, diction, power, strength, control - all of that from one person's vocal ability. Now that's special.
I believe that our voices are under-used and often an after thought. Warming up, staying healthy, keeping hydrated; they're all great things to focus on, but are part of something greater.
Our entire body, our past, our present, the environment, our mood and mental state inform and affect the voice we have at any one time. So I continue to learn how to get the most out of my own voice in order to provide the best of my talent to directors, authors, producers and publishers in many genres.

I worked at Sky Television for over 10 years as a writer, producer and director of and for voice over artists, and recorded continuity for Sky Travel, Challenge, Sky Mix. I have also been heard on the former Universal Channel, History 2 and Yesterday.
Since setting up my company, Voice Play Ltd, in 2017, I have over a hundred audiobooks to my name and that number continues to grow.
